I am hurting & beyond sad…

My family is mourning the loss of a very beautiful girl who touched our lives in many ways. Sydney Wood is an exceptional young lady and athlete. I had the honor to photograph Syd in Soccer and Basketball. To help ease the pain, I have compiled photographs over the last few years to love and honor Sydney. If the photographs help ease your pain, please download them for your comfort. 3. I adour your family Greg and Sue and it is extremely hard to believe you are less one beautiful daughter now. However only in the physical that is…she will be forever and always with us in spirit.
~I remember when I told Sydney about “Wordle”, and you told me how she was on that site constantly! I was flattered the she loved it that much. So cute.~

I want you to know Kiana and I were crushed that we couldn’t be there to say our “Bye for now Syd” 🙁

  4. I didn’t know Sydney but saw her very often in Blessed Sacrament basketball circles, its amazing how a basketball club and soccer club within the Hamilton area can have such close knit ties to each other. Everyone knows everyone and I knew of Sydney…..she was a great athlete and I’m finding out that she was loved by practically everyone. Her passing hits very close to home and I was deeply saddened to hear the news. The outpouring of support from family, friends, Blessed Sacrament Basketball, and Mount Hamilton Soccer has been tremendous. Her memory and beauty will forever inspire those who knew her. The photo tribute is beautiful Robin.
Keeping Sydney and her family in my prayers.

  5. I’m so sorry for your loss, I didn’t know Sydney but I do know a girl on her soccer team, I was deeply saddened by this, I’m praying for your family.

  6. What a special person you are Sydney. We will always be connected BFF. Your smile and great personality inspires me to continue working hard to impact others lives like you did to so many. Still jealous because you have the best dimples ever and I never had dimples. Continue to love on us all and be in our hearts/ Love Always ~dj

Greg you and the family are forever in my prayer.

  7. These pictures are a great memory. I have coached Sydney helping Charlie with the soccer team over the last 2 years and I have had the privilege of being on the soccer pitch with Sydney quite a few times. She was an amazing little girl, her smiles lightened up the pitch, she was a skilled athlete and a perfect “pleasure to coach” type of player. I will miss you Syd and so will everyone you touched the lives of with your kindness and your smiles.
    You’ll be always remembered.
