Grandparents Hold a Very Special Place in my Heart<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Lest We Remember!<\/strong>\u00a0Frederick\u00a0Wilson (Grandfather)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

My husbands grandfather was proud to fly a Spitfire in WWII for Great Britain. Unfortunately, I did not have an opportunity to meet him. He is a man of honor who many hold in high regard.<\/span>

Lest We Remember!<\/strong>\u00a0Mike (Hap) Leworthy (Grandpa)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

My Grandfather started as a motorcycle dispatch rider who delivered orders from headquarters to the front line.<\/span>
\nAt the end of his service in Italy, France & Germany;\u00a0he held high honor of Corporal in the Canadian Armed Forces.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

My Great Grandfather, Earnest James Leworthy from England is a WWI war veteran who enlisted on June 4th, 1918.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nLest We Forget<\/strong> what we went through to be Canadian…Japanese Canadian!<\/span><\/p>\n

This is an image I found in my Grandmothers photo album. I believe it is a concentration camp for the Japanese who immigrated to Canada.<\/span>\u00a0My Grandmother did not talk about the war time.\u00a0I only wish I knew more, but will remember November 11th on Remembrance Day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
