What an amazing surprise for the girls at David Johnson Basketball Camp. Natalie Achonwa is arguably one of the best women\u2019s basketball players EVER. A seasoned veteran on the international circuit. Natalie is Canada\u2019s youngest Senior Basketball team member at the age of 16. She is a 2012 London Olympian, FIBA World Championship Competitor and repetitive Final Four NCAA Contender. The Hamilton girls were preparing for fall tryouts at David Johnson\u2019s elite basketball girls camp, when Natalie walks in. In awe of the hometown St. Mary’s Catholic Secondary School Graduate, the girls gathered in close to take in every word. Natalie explained the discipline and hard work it takes to get a scholarship to university.<\/span><\/p>\n

DJ\u2019s daughter, Little Ms. Jayda made the trip from North Carolina. She stole the hearts of all the Canadian basketballers. Jayda is a big fan of Natalie\u2019s and caught a few games with her family leading up to the NCAA women\u2019s basketball championships last year. Natalie took some time out of her busy schedule to take some playful snaps with all her fans.<\/span><\/p>\n
