I know it’s Saturday, but have a moment since the family is at McMaster University cheering on the Marauders Basketball teams. I have to express another life lesson learned today. My son LJ was up at 6:30am dressed in his hockey gear (-skates & helmet) to let me know I had to take him to hockey. Funny thing is that it was a 9:00am game. Needless to say with 3 (three) seconds left on the clock in the 3rd period, he scores his 3rd goal for his 3rd time this season. On the other side of the arena at the beginning of the game, Jacob said that if LJ got a hat trick he was going to throw his hat on the ice. To my amazement all hats on the other side of the arena went up in the air and fell on the ice like confetti. A HEARTFELT MOMENT! But I didn’t capture it because I did not have my camera 🙁

So the reason why I did not photograph the game was because I was on my way to the imprint trade show. You know when you just don’t want to do something, but you force yourself. You think it’s going to be the same old…same old…redundant show. To my surprise-I’m glad the organizers called to preregister me and my show badge came in the mail. The show was informative and vendors were very inviting. I must say the highlight for me were the singing “Fruit of the Loom” characters! What a great promotional team and so much FUN!
