A Remembrance Day Poem by Login Wilson
Grandparents Hold a Very Special Place in my Heart
Lest We Remember! Frederick Wilson (Grandfather)

My husbands grandfather was proud to fly a Spitfire in WWII for Great Britain. Unfortunately, I did not have an opportunity to meet him. He is a man of honor who many hold in high regard.

Lest We Remember! Mike (Hap) Leworthy (Grandpa)

My Grandfather started as a motorcycle dispatch rider who delivered orders from headquarters to the front line.
At the end of his service in Italy, France & Germany; he held high honor of Corporal in the Canadian Armed Forces.
My Great Grandfather, Earnest James Leworthy from England is a WWI war veteran who enlisted on June 4th, 1918.

Lest We Forget what we went through to be Canadian…Japanese Canadian!

This is an image I found in my Grandmothers photo album. I believe it is a concentration camp for the Japanese who immigrated to Canada. My Grandmother did not talk about the war time. I only wish I knew more, but will remember November 11th on Remembrance Day.
