It was the first league game of the soccer season. I have a special spot in my heart for the Mount Hamilton Team and Coach Charlie. It has been a difficult 9 months for those who lost their teammate and dear friend, Sydney Wood. The memorial celebrating Sydney’s 12th birthday was the day before. It was nice to see so many familiar faces on and off the soccer field and basketball court.
Although I am cheering for Sparta this year, I am happy for Mount Hamilton’s strength to come out strong. It was a very tough and tight game and I look forward to meeting up with Mount Hamilton again. Congratulations MHSC on your first SRSL win of the Soccer Season!
